The last watermill is still driven by the power of water. Last traditional watermill on the river in a rural area near my home town. Machinery driven only by the power of the river, without any electric motors or modern technology. The only "modern" technology here is (electric) light.
Rich warm sounds or "room tones" inside the mill, wooden machinery and steel axle in operation.
Very rare sounds of old technology with pleasant sound textures and smooth sounds. "Analog" feeling and warmth of the sound. River and soundscapes outside of the mill, power of the water, song of the birds etc.

Recorded with Sennheiser MKH series microphones and Sound Devices mixer/recorder in north west Croatia ("Rječina" mountain river/mill in "Martinovo selo" village).
