It’s so lovely—and sadly so rare—to hear these haunting voices of natural places and their inhabitants speaking for themselves without being drowned out by human-caused noise. This almost sounds like a soundscape from an alien world, which of course it shouldn’t. Mystery dwells here, and wonder, overlaid with a nagging sense of guilt for eavesdropping on pristine soundscapes that we have done our worst to try to pollute.
