This recording brings you the sounds made by horses at free pasture (unattended) in highlands in Northern Croatia.
Pastures here a huge area surrounded by woods and hills. Vocalizations of other wild species as well as natural echo and bell ringing are also captured on these recordings.
Most common birds on these recordings are Cuckoos, Blackbirds, Chiffchaff, Chaffinch, European Robin, Nightjar etc. In the end of this Nature album (track 9 – Night) you can hear the call of Tawny Owl (Strix aluco) and Roe deer barking as well as Nightjar call in background. Crickets and other insects are also well captured on these recordings.
Recorded in May 2012.
This is a high quality recording originally recorded, edited and mixed at 24bit 96kHz resolution. Recorded with finest audio field equipment.
