about

Dawn and morning chorus recorded in rural area of northern Croatia in May 2017.
The beginning of this album starts at 4,12h AM. On the very beginning you can hear Nightjar (Caprimulgus europaeus) song following by dawn chorus of many birds like Blackbird (Turdus merula), European robin (Erithacus rubecula), different Tits (the tit family Paridae) , Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita), etc. There is good vocalisation of Cuckoos (Cuculus canorus) and Woodpeckers captured on the recording.
On track 02 there is a sound of wild boar passing by near the microphones. There are many barking sounds (distant) of Roe deers (track 03) . The mics are placed few meters of a small pond where animals came to drink or take a bath. There are plenty of this "bird take a bath" situations recorded on this album.
In the background, very distant, you can hear the noise of river (pan left).
Recorded in quasi binaural mic technique with SASS mic array in high resolution/audio settings (24bit/88.2kHz).
